Voulismeno Aloni is one of the weirdest geological phenomena in Greece. It is an impressive work of nature that has become a popular destination for sports climbing. It is located about 20 km from Hotel Belvedere and is a place with many routes and various levels of difficulty, for both beginners and advanced climbers.

According to the geologists, this place was previously a cave where its roof collapsed after earthquakes. Voulismeni Aloni has a diameter of 90 meters, while the height of its walls reaches 15 to 50 meters.

The name “Voulismeno Aloni” is due to an old folktale, according to which, in this area, there was a large threshing floor that sank into the earth, dragging its owners with it.
